About this object

Tray has a long rectangular depression to hold cigars, a medium depression for cigarettes and a small rectangular depression to hold a set of twelve ashtrays. In center of tray is a raised oval ring to hold a lighter. Down sloping rim of tray is in openwork deriving from old French silver. Rim contains medallions with openwork roses, which are linked by garlands.
