About this object
Around the cup body are three pseudo-medallions in imitation of real medallions: 1. Nicholas I, inscribed in Russian: "By God's grace, Nicholas I, Emperor of all Russia"; 2. the Tsarevitch Alexander and his wife, Maria Alexandra, inscribed in Russian: "Their Imperial Highnesses Alexandr Nikolaevitch, Maria Aleksandrovna;" 3. the Tsarina Alexandra Feodorovna inscribed in Russian: "Alexandra Feodorovna, Empress of all Russia."
