About this object

The lower portion of the oval box is cut from a single piece of bloodstone. The back is flat while the sides and front curved outwards. The cover is a flat piece of bloodstone shaped with the same outline as the bottom. The hinge is ribbed in gold with a thumbpiece at the front.
