Standing in Solidarity with the Black Community

Written on Marjorie Post's final resting place is “All my hopes rest in me." An apt phrase for a strong woman who supported and took action for the causes she believed in. Post recognized that those who benefit from privilege must use that in service to others. We strive to uphold her values and we urge equality, peace, and justice for people of color and condemn all acts of violence and racism. Our hopes rest in each other.

Hillwood invites and welcomes all to find respite and serenity during this time. As ever, we aim to care for our community, to honor the legacy Post left for us, and to further the quest for diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion. We acknowledge we are at the beginning of this journey and have work to do. Hillwood remains committed to listening, learning, and growing to best serve our community and aid in this fight.
