The archives and special collections department manages all images created by and held by Hillwood in digital, film transparency, lantern, plastic, and glass slide formats. The department currently manages over 10,000 digital images and is continually creating more materials in digital format. 

Additionally, the archives and special collections department manages permission requests from external individuals and organizations for using images owned by Hillwood in academic publications and exhibitions. Please note that press or media professionals should contact our marketing department.

Please note: Image rights and reproductions requests will be delayed through the beginning of August 2021. Please be sure to include as much information in your initial request as possible. You can expect an initial response within 5 business days, though image delivery will take longer.
