Floral Design How-To: Beloved Child in Bloom

Inspired by Marguerite Gérard’s idyllic and sentimental style, which was shaped by Enlightenment ideals and emerging views of motherhood in the late 18th century, create a highly romantic floral arrangement with Ami Wilber, floral and event décor designer, via Zoom.

This program includes a closer look at the painting The Beloved Child (L’Enfant Chéri), an overview of floral design principles, a step-by-step guide to creating your own arrangement, and ample time to ask questions.

This workshop is limited to 50 participants. Supplies are not included, but a materials list will be shared with all registered users prior to the program, should participants wish to follow along at home.

This virtual workshop is presented live via Zoom. The online "waiting room" opens at 1 p.m. and the workshop begins at 1:30 p.m. Participants are encouraged to join with video; questions can be submitted via the chat feature. Please note that this workshop will be recorded.

Registered participants will be emailed a link to join this Zoom program. To get started, please download Zoom on your chosen device and explore the Frequently Asked Questions
