About this object

Stone lantern in the shape of a five tiered pagoda, each section having a black base pierced with eight arched apertures and a curved roof edged with a tooth like motif. Surmounted by a ring molded columnar stem carved with parallel lines. This supports a flattened spherical finial. On a four-sided domed and splayed base.
