About this object

Two cast iron benches in the Coalbrookdale lily-of-the-valley pattern from ca. 1870. Seat is crescent shaped, with leaf panels. Back is arched with arm rest that terminates in griffin heads. Legs are winged. Back of seat has seven vertical panels filled with a leaf design.
