About this object

Three bronze eagles, sculpted by Paul Bartlett after the sinking of the Lusitania. The eagles are perched on a bell shaped base, at rest. Base has a shield on the front of it with a banner reading "Preparedness." Eagles sit with wings folded, his head cocked to his right side.
