About this object

Four statues in lead, depicting the four seasons. Summer is shown as a young boy holding on top of his head a basket filled with leaves. Autumn also holds leaves on top of his head and he has s shawl around his shoulders and a sash around his hips. Spring is draped with a shawl, and his lowered arms hold a bouquet to his side. Winter is clutching a lion skin around himself and is shivering. From the prototypes of JB White.
