About this object

Figurine shows a river boat manned by four men. There are rudders at the sides and back of the boat. On top of the boat is a covered sqaure section with a open window that can open on a pin hinge. Above the cabin is a sail with is divided horizontally into sections. One man holds onto the control for the sail. Another man stands on the front of the boat with one hand on the sail and the other pointing forwards. A third man sits at his feet and holds the end of the rudder. The final man stands behind the cabin at the main rudder and looks forward. The base is in wood that is carved with swirls of water.
