About this object

Match box holder is carved in openwork jade. There is a rectangular vertical piece that sits upright on a flat rectangular base. This is also is carved openwork. The base rests on four orange colored, ball feet which are attached to the base with metal rosettes. A carved duck is standing in front of the holder with its wings against its body and its head facing to the left.
