About this object

The bottle is shaped like a flattened bottle of spade shape and a tall neck. On the front is carved a boy who stands on the right side and reaches around the front towards a bird which is carved on the left side. At the bottom are some leaves and a flower. The rest of the front is plain. On the back in the center is a large bird with an elaborate crest. It stands on a tree branch at the bottom of the side. The back of the boy is seen to the left. The peaked cover is carved with a boy who leans forward with his arms outstretched. The teakwood base is elaborately carved.
