About this object

The bottle is a flattened flask with a square shape. The front and back have a raised border with the top being pointed towards the cap. On the front lower left is a buddha seated in the lotus position and holding a ball in his hands. He is set in a landscape with rocks to the right. From the rocks grows a tree which curves above the man to fill in the rest of the space. On the back is an ox at the lower left. In the distance is an Oriental pavilion or shrine. The landscape shows a tree to the left which extends its branches into the space. The rounded cover is carved with large flowers.
