About this object

The shape of this bottle is an elongated flattened flask with a bulbous bottom. On the front are two animals, one a bird and the other an unidentified animal. Above them are the branches of a tree with fruit and flowers. On the back the tree continues. It has has a grasshopper eating the fruit which looks like pineapple. The cap cover is carved with a bird with outstretched wings. The base is in teakwood with lotus carvings.
