Detailed, ornate engraving on buff paper. On one face in two shades of green ink with brown and black accents, a large cartouche composed of two griffin heads and the number three at lower left and lower right containing text, the number 3 at center, the imperial eagle and the monogram of Nicholas II. On the other face in green, blue, brown and black ink, the imperial eagle, two large number "3"s, and text in an enclosed cartouche.
