Detailed, ornate engraving in black on buff paper. On one face, shadowy vine scrolls in red and green, the imperial eagle and cipher of Nicholas II within wreaths, heavy swags of fruit, shaped cartouches enclosing texts, the number KM 182902. On the other face, in an oval, a bust length portrait of Catherine II after the painting by Lampi, surrounded by classical ornament including a standing male figure. At right, when held up to light, water mark visible, same portrait of Catherine II.
