In foreground are sixteen small figures including three peasants, three soldiers and two horsemen, a single straight tree at right. In the middle distance passes a coach drawn by six horses. Style of dress is of the first half of the 19th century. Beyond is a large plain building and to the left several smaller buildings, one with a domed cupola. Catherine Palace at Tsarkoe Selo.
