The engraving is a view of the Sergei Lavra at Zagorsk near Moscow. To the left are trees on a knoll. The grassy area continues to the right, interrupted by a stream in the center. At the center foreground is a cart with people next to it. In the middle distance are a few cottages and in the far distance is a walled city with churches and buildings showing inside.
