Icon for one month painted on a panel made of a sheet of paper or parchment and built up with gesso. Background is in gold. In center of front one above the other are three scenes: 1 the Crucifixion, 2 the Annunciation, 3 Christ in a medallion surrounded by angels and resting on seraph. There are three rows of saints at either side, each identified by name. On the back are three rows of saints, each identified by name.
