Oval miniature, painted on ivory is of a beautiful young woman in a white décolleté dress. Her hair is black, and she is wearing a tiara of white roses and a single strand of pearls with a clasp marching her earrings. She is wearing the ribbon and star of the Russian imperial order of St. Catherine. On her left shoulder is the ribbon and badge of the Prussian order of Louise. Background is a red curtain with a gold tassel and column. The miniature portrait is set in an elaborate gilt-bronze frame.
