Portrait of Empress Catherine II dressed in the uniform of an officer of the Guards. She is seen half-length turned partly to the left. She wears a red jacket of the Guards and a fur cap. On her breast are the stars of three orders: St. Andrew First Called, St. Vladimir, and St. George.
