A scene in the woods with a road in the central foreground. At the left is a boar attacked by a man on a grey horse, and being held at bay by a groom with spear. There are several hounds surrounding the boar. At the right are three other horsemen. One is on a white horse which is rearing. The rider holds a sword in his hand. Behind him is another rider in a red coat on a bay horse. In the right distance is the third rider on a small hill. He holds a staff in his right hand. There is another hound at the right. The woods are full of tall, leafy trees. The road is packed earth.
