A mail coach driving in a winter landscape. The coach is covered with snow. It is driving towards the left and pulled by two pairs of horses. Painted on the side is Chester-London Royal Mail. Two coachmen sit in the driver's seat, one is holding a whip. Behind them are two men, one holding an umbrella. At the rear is another man sitting huddled. Snow is falling. There is a fence at the front and two trees in the background.
