About this object

The still life is displayed on a carved wooden table top, the edge of which can be seen at the bottom of the painting. Behind the still life in the center is a carved wooden pedestal or panel, possibly part of a mantel. To the right in the background is a curtain or drape. To the left is a plain wall. On the table to the right is a metal tazza with repousse work. It holds a peach and some plums with leaves. Beneath it are bunches of grapes with leaves, a peach with a fly on it, and some red peppers. To the left is a round wine goblet filled with wine which shows a reflection of two windows. Underneath the fruit is a fringed patterned cloth.
