About this object

An arrangement of fruit on a table top. The edge of the wooden table is carved with a leaf scroll, which is visible at the bottom of the painting. On top of the table is a basket which contains a large yellow leaf and purple and white grapes. Displayed on the table is one large peach with a fly on it, red raspberries, white currants, one purple and one yellow plum. At the left is a wine glass filled with white wine which has the reflection of two windows in it. Behind the still life is a wall with a shadow on it to the left. To the far right is a small rectangle of landscape showing trees and a blue sky with white clouds.
