About this object
A portrait of Marjorie Merriweather Post's daughter, Eleanor Close Barzin. She is in her riding habit, standing almost full-length, facing to the left. She holds a riding crop tucked under her left arm and held with her left hand. Her right arm is at her side, cradling her hat at her side. Her habit is brown with a long coat, riding jodhpurs in tan fabric, and long boots. Her white collar sticks out oat the top of her coat and she wears a cravat. She stands in a landscape with trees in the distance. The trees are around the level of her hips.
