About this object

The Post coat of arms. Within a painted oval is the Post shield in a fanciful setting with a nymph at the right holding a long cornucopia full of fruit and a sickle. There are three winged putti flying above holding flower garlands against a blue sky. Below the shield is fruit, wheat stalks and a banderole with IN ME MEA SPES OMNIS written on it. Th coat of arms shows two arches in the upper third, a lion facing to the left with a circle on each side ot it in the middle third, and an arch in the bottom third. Below the oval is the word POST.
