A circular pattern of tiny seed pearls radiates from a design of tiny diamonds at the center of this bag. The frame of the bag is platinum set with diamonds, and the clasp closes with two small pearls. E.F. Hutton gave this bag to his daughter, Dina Merrill (née Nedenia Hutton), on the day of her wedding to Stanley Rumbough. Inside the frame is the following inscription: "For you darling to carry on your way to happiness. Love always, Pappy."

E.F. Hutton gave this bag to his daughter, Dina Merrill (née Nedenia Hutton), on the day of her wedding to Stanley Rumbough. Evening bag made in a circular pattern of tiny seed pearls swirling out from the center in which is a circular design in diamonds. At edges of the bag, strands of pearls make a fringe. Bag is mounted in a silver frame, set on the front with diamonds. Clasp is set with two pearls. Inside is lined with doeskin. There is a pearl at each hinge of the frame. Handbag is carried by a double link chain.
