About this object

White nightgown formed from cotton lawn gathered onto a yoke at center front and center back. The tulip shaped sleeves are of pleated lawn, flat lace and gathered lace in a decorative circular motif. Large satin ribbons are applied at center front and shoulders. Garment finishes with a gathered 4" ruffle and a 1-1/2" lace band at hem. A monogram, "MMP" is embroidered on front, left of center.
