About this object

Costume worn by Admiral Volov at 1903 Boyard Ball. Consists of coat, pants, shirt, sash, boots, hat and gloves. Hat is conical with a low four section crown of brocade that matches the coat. The brim is of black fox fur, which is split at the front, and edged with faux pearls. There is a leather sweat band and a linign of natural color linen covered with ivory silk.
