About this object

Two square ecru teacloths in a patchwork of bobbin and needle lace. The edge of the cloth is in needle lace diamonds joined with buttonholed picots. Above the edge is fine bobbin lace in a stylized leaf and flower design joined in a bell shape. At each corner is a panel in heavy Venise-type needle lace in a daisy design with cut sections of Vieux Flandre mixed bobbin and needle lace in an overall scrolling design. In the center of the cloth is a square of needle lace flowers surrounded by bobbin lace in a bell shaped pattern accented with flowers.
