About this object

The brocade piece has a gilt background and a raised pattern in blue. There is an undulating wave pattern of a thick rope like pattern which forms circular lozenges. This pattern is connected with English roses on the sides and the Royal crown on the bottom. Inside the lozenges are mirrored leaves with acorns and another English rose on top. The fringe is in blue and gold. Edged with a gold braid.
