About this object

The runner is made in a cream color of net and silk lace. It shows the Rendicion of Granada. The outer edge is scalloped and encloses flowers connected by ribbons. The next border contains lions and griffins in elongated forms. They hold a sign at the top, and another one at the bottom. In the four corners are circles which enclose castles in two of them and griffins in the other two. The central panel contains a scene in which an army in lined up at the left of the picture with a man on a horse at the front of the line. To the right are other people on horses in medieval clothing.
