About this object

A cream colored luncheon set made in Point de Venise needle lace, consisting of a runner, mats and napkins. The runner has a scalloped lace border with elaborate lacework on the corners. Along the sides are small inserts of lace. The inside of the runner has a rectangular design with three curved bumps along each side and a smaller one on each edge. Around this design is elaborate lace both outside and inside.
