About this object
A white damask hand towel with bobbin lace trim at both ends. The weave of the towel is in a stripped pattern. At each end above the lace are four row of drawnwork that run horizontally on either side of four rows of vertical drawnwork. Above the drawnwork in the center at both ends of the towel is an oval of needle lace with a central flower motif on a mesh background. This is attached to the towel by brides picotee. At on end of the towel above the oval is the embroidered Hutton crest.
