About this object

A cream colored silk bedspread that is trimmed with an ecru filet lace. The design of the filet lace hem is of two roses in cartouches. This hem trim runs on three sides. It has an under hem of sheer silk. Nineteen inches from each side of the hem is a 6 inch panel of ecru filet lace that runs from the bottom to the top of the spread. The design of these panels are of two bows alternating with two roses. In the center of the spread is a raised embroidered monogram MPD.
