About this object

A white damask towel edging that has a design of cutwork embroidery. In the center of the cutwork is an oval of needle lace woven into the monogram of MPH. Above the cutwork are two sprays of flowers in white work embroidery. The top of the towel fragment has been cut, while the bottom of the edging is scalloped and embroidered.
