About this object

Round tablecloth made of linen and lace. Outer edge is scalloped lace. The center has elaborate cutwork in scrolls and leaf designs. Within the cutwork are cartouches is a row around the outer edge. There are oval lozenges that alternate with a larger cartouche. The oval lozenge contains a classical scene with a nymph and cherub. The other cartouches contain two nymphs holding a garland. The center of the cloth has a round cartouche with cherubs in the center.
