About this object

A cream colored dresser mat used in Mrs. Post's bedroom. In the center of the mat the design is of Point de gaze needle lace flowers on machine net . This design is frames at right angles with Point de gaze needle lace banners in two different motifs. One is of flowers vining over a lattice design and the other is of flowers running vertically on the banners. In the corners are Honiton bobbin lace flowers on machine net. Surrounding the center is a Valenciennes bobbin lace edging.
