About this object

A cream colored bodice edging of a machine Lille type bobbin lace with needle run cordonnets on a mesh background. The design elements are of flowers and leaves that join each other in a chain like pattern. There are various types of mesh motifs with esprits sprinkles randomly across the pattern. There is a pink silk material running along the lower edge with two areas of smocking evident by the armhole areas. In the center front the lace runs through the pink silk continuing the design of flowers.
