About this object

Four filet crochet insertions. The design is geometric and consists of a center ribbonlike area of diamonds alternating with shamrock or flowers. The top and bottom of the insertion made up of four rows of single crochet and four rows of double crochet. The last row on the top and bottom is one row of chain stitch. 45.543.4 has two strips of linen of a 1/2 inch each attached to the insertion. The four pieces were probably part of a bed linen set.
