About this object

A round white linen tablecloth with a scalloped filet edging in a flower design. The center of the cloth is cut work embroidery surrounded by 4 large filet insets with angels and cherubs. There are 4 Venetian needle lace insets separating the filet. These ovals show women in classical drapery in Venetian needle lace. Between the center and the hem are 8 large filet insets with classical poses of women and scrolls alternating .
