About this object

This off white Belgian Venise needle lace insertion has been cut from a table linen. It is a panel that has at one end a medallion of a boy picking fruit from a tree. At the other end is of a medallion of a girl picking flowers from a tree. In the center of the panel are two similar medallions. The 2 1/2 inch insertions joining the medallions are of Belgian Venise needle lace in a scrolling flower design connected by bars.
