About this object

A white Bucks (?) bobbin lace edging in a pomegranite design with a pinchain filling. "There is an awkward transition to the edge" (per MLK). At one end is a metal tag with the word DENTELLE on one side and VERITABLE on the other. There was attached a paper tag which was removed (SN) due to the pin. Stamped on the tag was made in Belgium.

Paper tag Printed in gold Made in Belgium. Written on top of this in red ink is le or u M 20 f. The next line is Ha 3063 in black ink/oe in blue ink/10 in black ink and next to that in blue ink onae/361339 in black ink/UM. 29.50/On the back of the tag in pencil is 21 cm/2 yards/24 in. Written to the side of this is B351. On the other side is 21 m in pencil. This was attached to the edging. The tag was removed due to the pin holding it which would damage the edging. tag The metal tag has on one side DENTELLE and VERITABLE on the other side. Attached to the edging.
