Assorted pieces of tape lace, using narrow machine braid and needle lace fillings. .1 is an irregular piece of cream tape lace that has a rose at one corner and the rest of the design in a scroll pattern. Under the rose are silk fibers perhaps from whatever this was taken from, curtains or a garment perhaps. .2 is a triangular cream piece of tape lace with a rose at the wide end. The rest of the pattern is scrolled with needle fillings. .3 is an almost identical piece of lace as number .2 although the rose has less broken threads. .4 is a butterfly shaped fragment that has at the top two roses with the rest of the piece in a scroll pattern with needle fillings. .5 is a wider butterfly shaped fragment and at the center has a rose. On the two outer parts are a rose at each corner. The rest of the pattern is in the scroll pattern with needle fillings. .6 is a triangular ecru fragment with a rose at the long end of the piece. .7 is an irregular ecru fragment that has at its widest part a large rose made with machine braid with needle fillings. The rest of the design is in the scroll pattern with needle fillings. .8 is almost identical to .7 however it has not been so severely cut. .9 has been cut from a pointed ecru end of tape lace resembling .6 .10 is similar to .7 and .8 but the tape at the opposite end of the rose has not been cut so severly. Note: .6-.10 are ecru on one side and cream on the other,due to light or scorching from ironing, however the color is an overall color.
