A white linen handkerchief with an inset of bobbin lace. Above the inset is the monogram MDP. Under and around the monogram and inset is embroidery in a bud and dot design. the edge is needle lace all around with alternating pyramids of open button hole stitch and woven. This handkerchief may have been used for Mrs. Post's wedding to Joseph Davies, because of the numerous repairs to the piece.
