An ecru length of Alencon needle lace. The design is thickly sprinkled heart shaped sprigs on regular or ordinaire reseau. At the edge of the piece is a strip of petite reseau with rows of shallow scallops of ring in a chainette design. At the top of the piece is an Engrelure or heading.
