About this object

This white flounce is made of applique on diamond net. The design is of elaborate bobbin lace floral spray leaning right, with a pendant needlelace rose with 2 layers of raised petals. This repeat is 10 inches wide. The Duchesse bobbin lace portion is very open in clothwork with some raised ribs and veins. The net has dots and the bottom edge has flowers touching each other. Approximately 11 inches is not complete in pattern or has been removed by cutting.
