About this object

Eight round, white, silk doilies. The center of the doilies is plain sheer silk. About one and a half inches from the outer edge there are five circles made up of fine white embroidered flowers that surround five insets of Alencon type needle lace fillings. Between each round motif are embroidered leaves with a single flower in the middle of the leaves. Each motif has above it seven embroidered rays. The edging of the doilies is of scalloped embroidery. 45.132.2 has a blue look to the embroidery which may indicate an original color. The other doilies appear white.
